THE BIO

My name is Manpreet Mand. I have been specializing in the practice of family law since being called to the BC Bar in 2007. I am a UBC alumni, majoring in both History and Political Science, and a UVic alumni, obtaining my law degree in 2006.
I have over a decade experience in the negotiation, litigation, and resolution of all aspects of family law. I regularly appear before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia. I work with clients to determine effective approaches to resolving their family law issues, including the use of mediation and collaborative law. I am an accredited Family Law Mediator and a member of the Collaborative Association (Lower Mainland).
I have a strong commitment to community and served as Director of a not-for-profit for over six years, and have dedicated my time and energy to other volunteer organizations as well.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the world, listening to podcasts, watching films, cheering for the Canucks, kickboxing, and spending time with family, friends, and my dog.
