THE BIO
My name is Manpreet Mand. I have been specializing in the practice of family law since being called to the BC Bar in 2007. I am a UBC alumni, majoring in both History and Political Science, and a UVic alumni, obtaining my law degree in 2006.

I have over 16 years of experience in the negotiation, litigation, and resolution of all aspects of family law. I regularly appear before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia. I work with clients to determine effective approaches to resolving their family law issues, including the use of mediation and collaborative law. I am an accredited Family Law Mediator, Arbitrator and Parenting Coordinator and a member of the Collaborative Association (Lower Mainland). I am a legal member for the Mental Health Review Board.

I have a strong commitment to community and served as Director of a not-for-profit for over six years, and have dedicated my time and energy to other volunteer organizations as well, such as the Canadian Bar Association of British Columbia, serving as the Westminster County Representative, a mentor, a practice coach and a member of the Court Services Committee. I am also a Director on the CLEBC Board.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the world, listening to podcasts, watching films, cheering for the Canucks, kickboxing, and spending time with family, friends, and my dog.
